Explorers

Explorers is the last section for under 18s in scouting and one of the most interesting!

Have you ever thought about doing your Duke of Edinburgh award, going on an ice camp (in the middle of winter) or paragliding? Well in Explorers you can do all of these plus more adventurous activities.

As well as doing all the above, Explorers are given the opportunity to help a younger section such as Beavers or Cubs,  as a young leader. Being a young leader is a good thing to have on your CV when you apply for jobs as it can show the many skills that you will gain.

If you are interested in joining the Explorers then you must be aged 14-18 years. Please read the Explorer Units pages to find out more.
